Media4You Return & Refund Policy

Online Shop

 

Media4You is an online ecommerce store, selling custom print-on-demand orders from a third party fulfilment company. Due to this, our return and refund policy is set by the manufacturer, and will vary depending on the country in which you have ordered a product from.

The following rights and protections are governed by UK law.

 

Cancelling your order:

Under British law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of making your purchase, (unless you have buyer’s remorse or don’t want the order anymore), prior to the order being processed or dispatched. If you cancel your order within this 14 day time period, the bank will charge you a processing fee, which will either be taken out of the refunded amount, or charged separately. You can only cancel your order as long as it hasn’t been processed. When you order a print-on-demand (POD) order online, there will be a small grace period where the funds will be held in case of a purchaser requiring an order cancellation, as soon as this grace period has ended, the order will be sent to processing, at which point the payment will be transferred to the manufacturer, and they will begin producing your product. As soon as your order has been processed and sent off, you are no longer eligible for a cancellation, even if this is within your 14 day window. The grace period varies depending on the product purchased, the amount purchased, and how long it takes for the money to clear through the bank’s system. Any digital products cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded. Please continue reading to know what to do once your order has been processed.

 

Return & Refunds:

Once your order has been processed, it will be manufactured and dispatched to your chosen address. Once your item(s) have arrived to you, you can contact us via means of a clear statement at info@media4youiow.co.uk, detailing the issues with your item. Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items, must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the product. For any packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on the manufacturer’s part, are covered at their expense, either by a refund, or replacement. Please note that although you have 30 days to contact us, we need time to pass your claim onto the manufacturer to be processed, therefore, please contact us no later than 23 days after your product has been received so that there is time to process your problem. DO NOT RETURN YOUR ITEM TO THE FACILITY BEFORE CONTACTING US FIRST TO RAISE A CLAIM AS YOUR ORDER WILL BE DONATED TO CHARITY AND YOU WILL LOOSE THE RIGHT TO A REPLACEMENT/REFUND.

 

Wrong Address:

If your address is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to the manufacturer and you will be liable for the reshipment costs, plus any processing fees, once we have confirmation of an updated address. Please check your address before making a purchase.

 

Unclaimed Items:

Any shipments that go unclaimed are returned to the manufacturer and you will be liable for the cost of reshipment and any processing fees. The manufacturer won’t accept any returns of any sealed goods, such as but not limited to, face masks. Any unclaimed items will be donated to charity after 30 days.

 

Right of refusal:

Under British & EU law, the manufacture reserves the rights to refuse returns and refunds at its sole discretion.

 

Refund timeframes:

If entitled to a refund, we will aim to reimburse you no later than 30 days from the day in which we, or our third party fulfilment centres, receive the returned goods and verify they are eligible for a refund. Our manufactures have the right to refuse refunds at their sole discretion. We will use the same means of payment for the refund as used for the order, however we may contact you to verify the payment details beforehand, if we do this, we will verify ourselves first. You can also request that the funds are processed into an E-Gift card to use in our store, instead of having the funds returned to your bank.

 

Notice:

We do not manufacture or fulfil, or post any physical items sold in our store, therefore if there are any issues with any order that you have made or received, we can only act as a middle man between yourself and our third party manufacturers that we use to fulfil your order. These companies will have their own timeframes, procedures and policies that are always changing and evolving, and as such, it is down to them if they accept any returns or refunds for any products.

 

Policy Guidelines:

Please read below a rough guideline to what would be acceptable for a return or refund by our manufacturers, please note that this isn’t set in stone, and will always be changing by the manufacturer, so if you have any questions, please email us at info@media4youiow.co.uk.

The following goods cannot be returned:
The supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized to your needs.
The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, for example goods which deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
The supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
Any digital item, online service or subscriptions.
We reserve the right to refuse returns & refunds of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion. Likewise, our third-party fulfilment companies reserve the right to refuse returns and refunds based on their own T&Cs.

Our manufacturers won’t accept any returns or refunds on buyers remorse, or if you no longer want the item. The manufacturer has to be at fault in some way of an issue relating to the product, in order for a replacement, return or refund to be issued.

Returning Goods:
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. If you have kept the original packaging, depending on the item, our third-party fulfilment companies may issue you a pre-paid return label or issue you a refund without the need of physically returning the item. They may also give you the option of simply replacing the item, however this is at their sole discretion. 
We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in shipment or return shipment. Therefore, we recommend using an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the physical goods or proof of received return delivery.
If an item was damaged during shipment to you, we will attempt to seek reimbursement from the courier, and try to replace the item, however this may take time.
